Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Blow Mold Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blow molding machines that produce high-quality plastic containers and products. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and consistent product quality. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor blow mold machines to produce plastic bottles, containers, or other molded products according to specifications.
- Perform routine inspections of molds and machinery to ensure proper function and identify maintenance needs.
- Adjust machine controls and parameters using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Handle materials safely by utilizing forklifts and proper materials handling techniques to load raw plastics and remove finished goods from the production line.
- Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and quality documentation for traceability and process improvement.
- Assist with fabrication tasks using hand tools, press brake machines, CNC lathes, or CNC equipment as needed for tooling or minor repairs.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Experience
- Proven experience operating plastics blow molding machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with plastics extrusion, injection molding, and related fabrication processes.
- Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment including press brake machines, CNC lathes, CNC controls, and other machining tools.
- Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts is preferred.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine control adjustments.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction.

Pay: $16.95 - $23.00 per hour
