Alon’s Bakery & Market is an esteemed European bakery and market searching for a talented, driven, and detail-oriented Pastry Production Specialist to join our Wholesale Production Facility. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in pastry techniques and experience producing high-quality desserts in a fast-paced production environment.
This position plays an important role in creating the desserts supplied to our retail markets, catering operations, and wholesale customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, values consistency, and is passionate about producing exceptional products that reflect the quality and reputation of the Alon’s brand.
The ideal candidate will have professional experience creating a variety of pastries and desserts, including cakes, mousses, tortes, tarts, truffles, and other specialty items. This individual should have strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and the desire to continue developing their skills while contributing to a talented production team.

The Job
As a Pastry Production Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and finishing a diverse assortment of desserts in our Wholesale Production Facility. You will work alongside an experienced production team to maintain the high standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency that define Alon’s.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble, and finish a variety of cakes, mousses, tortes, tarts, truffles, pastries, and specialty desserts.
- Execute recipes with precision while maintaining consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
- Decorate and finish products according to Alon’s quality standards.
- Maintain daily production schedules while working efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Monitor product quality throughout production and ensure finished products meet company expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and finished products.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with fellow production team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Assist with additional bakery production responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional pastry or bakery production experience preferred.
- Experience producing cakes, mousses, tortes, tarts, truffles, and other specialty desserts.
- Strong understanding of pastry techniques, baking fundamentals, and dessert production.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Desire to continue learning and developing within a professional pastry environment.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Morning availability is required.
- Production schedules fall between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, depending on business needs.
- Weekend availability may be required.
