American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week contract in Pittsfield, MA requiring a valid Massachusetts license.

Inpatient occupational therapy setting

Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Holiday coverage required as needed

No on-call requirements

Rehabilitation equipment utilized includes splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment, and modalities
-
Minimum 2 years of current inpatient OT experience required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy required

Active Massachusetts OT license required (license required if applicable)

Active BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Must have personal vehicle for this position

Skills Checklist (Occupational Health, current within 1 year) required for consideration

1 supervisory-signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration

Provide direct patient care including evaluation, treatment, and use of adaptive equipment and modalities

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in developing and implementing comprehensive patient care plans

RTO requests of no more than 5 days must be submitted at the time of application — requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved

Orientation is non-billable (8 hours)
