HOURS: MON-FRI 8-5
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Surface Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; polish glass, mirrors, and windows
- Sanitation: Deep clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch surfaces, replenishing necessary supplies (e.g., paper towels, soap)
- Waste Management: Empty trash, ensuring proper disposal per facility guidelines.
- Basic Maintenance: Handle minor repairs, such as replacing lightbulbs, unclogging toilets, or tightening hardware
- Safety & Security: Follow strict protocols for handling cleaning chemicals; secure the building by locking doors at the end of shifts.
- Report major maintenance needs to management
- Outdoor Upkeep: Sweep entryways and assist with seasonal duties like snow and ice removal or leaf clearing, salt throwing, to include cleaning and pressure washing patio areas
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
- Work is done primarily indoors in a regulated central heat and air conditioned building. Occasional exposure to cement dust in windy weather, and heat and cold upon entering and exiting plant, and taking out trash
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Throughout the day, the worker will stand, bend/stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push/pull, squat, reach above his/her shoulders, and lift, maneuver, and handle up to 50+ lbs
- Requires prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and walking
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pass a physical and Drug Screen
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Work independently
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
