Premier Staffing Unlimited is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Shipper to join a leading manufacturing and distribution team. The ideal candidate will verify orders, securely package materials, prepare shipping documentation, and coordinate with carriers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all outbound shipments.
Responsibilities
- Verify, document, and process domestic and international shipments using an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system.
- Package materials in compliance with DOT/IATA regulations and process shipments through FedEx Ship Manager.
- Communicate with customer service and supervisors to ensure all orders ship on schedule.
- Assist with corrective actions for non-conformances and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area and restock supplies as needed.
- Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an entire shift.
- Proficient with computers and web-based applications.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
