- Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress through standardized testing and informal observations to tailor instruction and support early intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs related to special education or child welfare, and foster strong home-school connections.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and maintaining a clean, organized learning space.
- Participate in professional development opportunities focused on curriculum development, classroom management, childhood development, and best practices in early intervention.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and classroom management techniques.
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, or private schools with a focus on toddler care and preschool experience.
- Strong curriculum development skills covering literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methodologies.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education environments.
- Experience in working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
