Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)
RN I/DD – Key Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centered nursing care with small, manageable caseloads
- Coordinate medical care, appointments, and follow‑up for individuals with I/DD
- Oversee medication administration and ensure regulatory compliance
- Advocate for people supported within healthcare and clinical settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation
- Support and educate staff on health, safety, and medical best practices
Qualifications
- New York State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- I/DD, residential, or community‑based nursing experience preferred
- Commitment to person‑first, compassionate care
- Valid NYS driver’s license
