Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure safety and optimal flavor.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or toppings to enhance customer offerings.
- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently serving orders and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Follow all food safety regulations and industry standards to uphold hygiene and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably with restaurant or food industry background.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is highly desirable.
- Fine dining or specialty restaurant experience is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and presentation skills.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
