We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

- Utilize knife skills to slice fish and other ingredients with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies needed for sushi preparation.
- Provide exceptional service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary restrictions when possible.
- Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing sushi offerings to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining establishments.
- Strong culinary experience with a focus on Japanese cuisine and sushi-making techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in menu planning and meal preparation is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is essential.
