Job Overview
Class A or B CDL Truck Driver/Operator facilitates the delivery of our products and materials to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights and brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
- Obey traffic laws and follow written and transportation procedures.
- Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, chains and spark plugs.
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Requirements
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred.
- Current Forklift Certification.
- 2 Year driving experience.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially route driving involving freight delivery.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Excellent manual handling skills and physical stamina for loading/unloading cargo as needed.
