Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying inventory, processing shipping documentation, and ensuring products are received and shipped accurately and on time.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and enjoys working with both inventory and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Prepare and process outgoing shipments according to customer and company requirements.
Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
Enter shipping and receiving information into the warehouse management system.
Coordinate with warehouse associates, carriers, and supervisors to ensure timely movement of products.
Print shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and other required documentation.
Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous shipping, receiving, inventory, or warehouse clerk experience preferred.
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
