La Roca is seeking a disciplined, professional Head of Security to oversee front-door control, floor awareness, and end-of-night procedures in a high-volume tequila-driven environment.
This is not a passive door position. This role requires leadership, visibility, and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining constant presence at the front entrance (no sitting, no drifting).
- Enforcing RAMP and liquor compliance standards.
- Managing last call and building clear-out procedures.
- Preventing vaping and prohibited behavior inside the building.
- Maintaining control of stairwells, VIP areas, and high-traffic zones.
- Ensuring no staff or guests remain seated at the bar after 2:00 AM.
- Leading and setting the standard for all security staff on shift.
- Communicating directly with ownership regarding incidents or irregularities.
Requirements:
- RAMP certified (required).
- Strong command presence.
- Physically capable of long periods of standing.
- High accountability mindset.
- Experience in nightlife or high-volume venues preferred.
- Must understand that security sets the tone for the entire building.
This is a leadership position, not a paycheck position.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
