Role:
Responsible for providing professional nursing care to the patient under the direction of a physician or health care provider.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Performs general nursing care to patients. Adjusts and/or administers prescribed medication and treatment in accordance with nursing standards and physician/provider's orders.

Responds to all incoming telephone calls and patient needs. Interpret patient's symptoms and communicates them to the physician. Assess the patient's needs to provide the best care and advice

Collaborates with physicians and nurses to devise individual care plans for patients.

Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, ect) and documents findings in the patient's medical record.

Inspect the facility and equipment and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, ect)

Maintaining personal contact with patients and relatives, being sensitive to their needs for courtesy, dignity, and privacy and ensuring a friendly environment at all times.

Storing and checking medication in accordance with established standards and guidelines.

Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for professional practice and continued professional growth. Attends all in-services and meetings as appropriate.
