Teen Autism Support Caregiver – Oshkosh (Part Time)
Pay: $15.00/hour Hours: 10 hours per week (one weeknight + Saturdays) Hiring with support from a third‑party agency
I’m a parent in Oshkosh looking for a patient, kind‑hearted, and dependable caregiver to support a non‑verbal teen on the autism spectrum. He enjoys spending time on the computer, and we’re hoping to find someone who can gently encourage more activity, outdoor time, and simple community outings like going to the park.
Our family is partnering with a third‑party agency for the hiring process, but you will be working directly with us.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with autistic children or teens
- Comfort supporting non‑verbal individuals
- Strong de‑escalation skills and a calm, steady presence
- Someone patient, compassionate, and respectful of family privacy
- Enjoys parks, walks, and encouraging movement
- Valid driver’s license is welcome but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
