The student tutor must demonstrate the motor skills required of all LECOM dental school students as specified in the Health & Technical Standards section of the student handbook;

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships;

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to: a being a current LECOM dental student with a passing grade, recommended by faculty, and completion of at least the first semester of dental education at LECOM (students repeating the year may not qualify). With the approval of the Dean, a first year dental student in their first semester with previous experience or expertise in a given subject area may be permitted to serve as a tutor for first year dental students.
