Ever dream of being a Rocket Scientist or doing work that actually is Rocket Science?? This is that opportunity!
Rocket Science really is amazing as it sounds! How often do you get the chance to immediately step in and make a difference at one of the nation’s top launch providers while gaining valuable experience to ensure your place in this growing industry!
E8 Engineering is partnering with a leading Space Launch provider on a high-impact rocket upgrade project. This company is working on the cutting edge of high-payload, high-orbit launches. We're seeking multiple Systems Engineers/Integrators with strong technical capability in Structures, Avionics, and Flight Software (FSW) to support CV on SLS integration. This work includes primary and secondary structural modifications (including ordnance structure), Emergency Detection System (EDS) integration, AFSS system integration, and development/coordination of the end-to-end digital emulator for FSW.
This 6-month contract (with possibility of extension or permanent placement) offers the chance to contribute directly to mission-critical work in the aerospace sector while gaining critical rocket-related engineering experience to become a future asset in this growing industry.
Compensation: $40–$75/hour (overtime eligible), depending on experience.
Why This Role? This assignment puts you at the center of a technically complex, fast-moving program with national visibility. You'll gain exposure to cutting-edge aerospace systems, collaborate with top engineers, and contribute to a program where precision and innovation truly matter. This company offers 60+ years of pedigree and innovation, yet with a work-life balance far better than the space start-ups.
