***NEW STORE OPEN****We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential to succeed in this role. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to assist guests effectively
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with food preparation, food handling, or kitchen operations is a plus
- Previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
