Key Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut teaching certificate required
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year in progress
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric clients preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Open to travelers meeting state certification requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services for elementary students with communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Deliver both individual and small group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing staff development initiatives
