Job Overview
We're looking for a experienced Mobile Tablet Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-based tablets within a highly secure, networked environment. This role calls for deep expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM, Windows 10/11 installation and configuration, PowerShell scripting, and advanced troubleshooting across a hybrid Active Directory/Microsoft Entra environment. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of relevant experience and a genuine drive for process improvement and operational innovation.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with availability for escalations as needed
Location: Remote with occasional travel to the Manhattan office and/or customer, vendor, or project sites throughout all of New York City.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Windows 11 tablets using Autopilot, SCCM, and Intune
- Package and roll out applications and policies through Intune and SCCM
- Build PowerShell automation for device provisioning and health checks
- Manage certificates, VPN, Wi-Fi, and cellular APN configurations
- Diagnose and resolve OS, network, and application issues in a secure environment
- Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
- Drive ongoing improvements to provisioning workflows and support processes
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT system administration or endpoint management
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Intune and SCCM
- Strong command of Windows 10/11 deployment and configuration
- Solid PowerShell scripting proficiency
- Hands-on experience with VPN, Wi-Fi, and cellular network configurations
- Working knowledge of certificate management in secure environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Development experience (C, Python, etc.)
- Experience mentoring or leading technical projects
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
