We're looking for an organized, people-first Administrative Assistant to support our team. You'll work closely with our program director to keep students engaged and families supported — splitting your time between administrative work and the training floor. No martial arts background required. We're looking for someone who's genuinely great with kids and youth, comfortable with a customer-facing role, and organized enough to keep the administrative side running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Support student retention — track attendance, follow up with families, help flag students who may be at risk of dropping off, and assist with belt promotion and event outreach
- Be a visible, energetic presence on the floor during class hours — greeting students and parents, supporting trial lessons, and assisting with parent conversations
- Serve as a go-to point of contact for parent questions, concerns, and account needs
- Handle day-to-day admin work — scheduling, data entry, phone/email correspondence, and keeping our records and systems organized
- Help create a warm, welcoming environment for new and current families
What We're Looking For
- Experience in customer service and administrative/office work
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with kids and teens
- Comfortable being people-facing and proactive — this isn't a desk-only, admin-only role
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work evening and Saturday afternoon hours
- No martial arts experience necessary — we'll train you on our programs
Nice to Have
- Prior sales or membership-based sales experience
- Experience with CRM, scheduling, or membership management software
- Bilingual
