Overview
We are seeking a talented, passionate, and established Hair Stylist and/or colorist with an established clientele to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist/Colorist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients through various hair care services. We’re a salon specializing in two distinct areas—styling and coloring. When you join us, you’ll be hired specifically for the area that best matches your strengths: either color or cut.
Duties
- Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, coloring, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Utilize techniques for precision cuts and styles.
- Apply hair extensions with skill and expertise to enhance client hairstyles.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
- Assist in retail sales by promoting hair care products that complement the services provided.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist or in a similar role within the beauty industry (Minimum 2 years experience).
- Valid Cosmetology/Hairstyling/Barber license
- Strong skills in hair styling, hair color, hair care, and retail sales are essential.
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on the latest trends in hair care and styling techniques.
