E.D.Supply is a local Electrical Distributor with 5 locations that was acquired by Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) in 2019. CED is a privately held nationwide distributor of electrical supplies. CED's business model focuses on local decision making, and a decentralized business model. We still operate like a local business,, but with the backing of a multi-billion dollar company. CED has over 700 locations.
Our focus is on serving our customers with a high level of service, integrity, and reliability.
We believe in a strong inventory, a great delivery service, and the highest level of customer service.
Counter Sales
This role is perfect for positive individuals that enjoy customer service, problem solving, and helping people.
The perfect candidate will also strive to be a master of their trade. We sell many different parts, and some are of technical complexity. The best sales people in our business immerse themselves in the products they sell, and become a valued consultant for our customers.
This role will have times that are very fast paced, and other times that are slow. The best candidate will be self motivated to achieve results during the slow periods of the day.
This entry-level position in Sales allows the successful candidate to learn the electrical wholesale business. The counter sales position is the face of our business to customers that walk through our door. Your duty will be to help that customer find the products they need to complete their job. This is primarily a business to business environment, with a small amount of retail sales. We are seeking positive minded, helpful, hardworking, reliable, and detail oriented candidates.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inside Sales / Answering Phone Calls
- Customer Service
- Developing Product Knowledge
- Inventory Management
- Process Improvement
- Warehouse Operations
- Purchasing
Qualities of a Successful Candidate:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks
- Desire to grow sales and maximize profitability
- Comfortable in a warehouse setting
- Strong leadership
Typical Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
