Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated front of house shift leader to join our management team. Beyond the responsibilities of working on our team, this position offers an opportunity to join a management team that values feedback and new ideas.
Duties:
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols and guidelines
- Assist with stocking inventory and supplies
- Delegate tasks and manage breaks
- Inventory management and supply ordering
- Engage in weekly management meetings to improve procedures and communicate with the rest of the management team
Skills:
- Proficiency in culinary techniques and food preparation
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Experience in food service industry
- Familiarity with operating a cash register
- Strong customer service skills to interact with guests effectively
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is beneficial
