Amato’s Pizza is looking for a pizza expediter/ runner who can watch pizzas in the oven, take them out when fully cooked and cut them.
The Pizza Expediter will be working from TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, and SUNDAY during the summer time. The hours will be from 4:00pm to close.
**Reliable transportation is a must**
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of food orders (pizza only) from the back of the house to the front of the house.
- Must be able to adapt to different environments and speeds, as business flows can fluctuate greatly.
- Maintain constant communication with the kitchen staff to monitor the progress of food preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized expediting station, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards in the expediting area.
- Assist with general cleaning and organizing tasks throughout pizzeria.
- Stock pizza area with adequate inventory levels.
- Monitor every order for readiness and coordinate with the pizza maker to ensure prompt delivery to customers.
Requirements:
- Restaurant experience, pizza making preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and protocols.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

- Ability to Walk and Stand up to 5-6 hours at a time.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and walk at a moderate pace.
