Job Description:
We are seeking caring, dependable individuals to provide direct support to adults in a structured Day Program setting. In this role, you'll encourage independence, promote personal growth, and assist participants with daily activities while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Support participants with daily routines while encouraging independence and self-confidence.
- Assist with personal care and medication support when needed.
- Plan and lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, music, games, and skill-building exercises.
- Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community-based activities.
- Track participant progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with coworkers to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
- Help maintain a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all participants.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and assisting individuals with mobility.
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certifications.
- No prior experience required—paid training is provided.
- Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, retail, hospitality, education, childcare, healthcare, or other service industries are encouraged to apply.
