Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Attorney for a direct hire opportunity with a litigation-focused legal services practice in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for an independent, detail-oriented, and motivated attorney who enjoys handling complex liability matters, preparing cases for trial, and working closely with clients and experienced legal teams.
The Associate Attorney will join a professional, team-oriented environment where attorneys are expected to take ownership of their work while receiving support from partners and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and defend liability matters through all phases of litigation.
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions and hearings, and prepare cases for trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, reports, and other litigation documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, provide case updates, and prepare formal reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with partners, shareholders, and legal team members to develop litigation strategy.
- Travel as required for depositions, hearings, client meetings, and other case-related needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year, with recruiter notes indicating potential compensation of $110,000 to $150,000 depending on experience.
