Join our dynamic team as a Hostess Cashier/Front of House Supervisor and become the welcoming face of our establishment! Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive customer service to set a positive tone for their visit
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and enhance guest satisfaction
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and billing
- Handle cashier responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and providing clear receipts
- Supervise front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent guest services, proper phone etiquette, and smooth communication among team members
- Assist in training new team members on guest services standards, POS systems, and restaurant protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front-of-house areas to uphold hygiene standards and a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a host/hostess in a food service or restaurant setting with strong customer service skills
- Previous experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating flow, and cash handling efficiently
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with guest relations and service excellence
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure
- Knowledge of serving procedures, phone etiquette, and guest services standards in a hospitality environment
