United States Steel Corporation has an immediate opening for a Process Manager.
Responsibilities:

Supervise production workers in the performance of their duties safely.

Monitor all work activities and take corrective action to resolve problems in a timely manner.

Review candidates for employment, supervise the orientation and job training of new employees, and evaluate their progress.

Conduct pre-shift safety huddles at the start of shift.

Prepare work orders and notify maintenance of any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.

Ensure that parts are completed in accordance with production schedules and that workers are working to standard.

Maximum production is attained from direct labor utilized.
-
Quality standards are maintained, and scrap is minimized.
-
Positive labor-management relationship is maintained.
-
Maintain clean, orderly, safe work areas.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
At least one-year related experience
-
Experience working with wage employees is desirable
-
Mechanical experience dealing with threading and industrial machinery preferred
