Job Summary:
Tiger Group is seeking a motivated business professional to join our team as an Industrial Auction Site Supervisor. The main duties are project management and assisting the Field Operations Manager. These tasks will include organizing and preparing assets for sale via LIVE and/or ONLINE auction(s), oversee inspection and manage buyer needs during the auction process, direct and supervise removal of assets, review lot catalog spreadsheets, order/train/manage labor, and other services necessary for the implementation of an auction from the beginning to its conclusion. Ability to think creatively and take descriptive asset photographs for the auction catalog.
Qualifications:
College Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Comfortable working in warehouse and industrial environments in a variety of weather conditions
Organized, detail orientated, self-motivating and good customer service skills
Working knowledge of Excel and average typing skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task under strict deadlines in a high-volume environment
Ability to use pallet jack and hand truck/dolly
Ability to perform physical labor as needed to catalog assets- including sitting, crouching or standing for extended periods (5-8 hours)
Able to Lift up to 70 lbs. on regular basis
An effective communicator who is proficient in English to write accurate and appealing lot descriptions
Strong research, scheduling/organizational office skills, and demeanor
Availability to work variable hours as needed to complete a project
Travel and overnight stays are expected to be 50% of this job
Valid Driver’s License with personal vehicle and ability to drive to auction sites
Helpful Experience:
Work experience and/or knowledge of machinery or industrial equipment
Ability to operate a forklift
Material handling
Warehouse operations
Auction set-up
Inventory cataloging
