Part-Time Rockville Event Venue Host
We're looking for a dependable, friendly, and responsible male to oversee our event venue, primarily during Saturday rentals and occasionally on Sundays.
At times, this position involves setting up and moving tables and chairs, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs.), and other physically demanding tasks. Applicants must be able to perform these essential duties.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome renters and answer basic questions.
- Open and prepare the venue for events.
- Set up and break down tables.
- Turn lights and A/C on and off.
- Operate a basic computer/slideshow (training provided).
- Be available during the event to assist guests as needed.
- Restock bathrooms with paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies as needed.
- Perform a final walkthrough and secure the building after the event.
Qualifications:
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Friendly with excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer knowledge/slideshow experience.
- Able to lift and move tables and chairs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must successfully pass a background check.

Schedule:
Primarily Saturdays, with occasional Sunday shifts, typically ranging from 3–6 hours.
Paid training will be provided. We're looking for someone who takes pride in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for our guests.
Pay: $23.80 - $28.67 per hour
