Busy private medical practice seeking experienced full-time Medical Assistant to join the health care team to support providers in a clinical setting and perform medical administrative duties under direct supervision of Office Manager. Ideal candidate must be courteous, works well in a team setting, excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask and adapt to changes as needed. Responsibilities:
As a member of clinical team, you are responsible for providing high quality service to our patients such as taking vital signs, recording patient history, chief complaint, updating pharmacy, prepares patient and setup equipment for Providers, assist in scheduling of tests and treatment as directed, obtain patient reviews to ensure overall satisfaction.
As a member of administrative team, you are responsible for managing patient referrals, prior authorization for diagnostic imaging and pharmacy, paperwork, answering phones, triaging calls, document scanning, organizes files and records, maintenance of fax-inbox, call backs on all patients with correct documentation, or other duties as assigned by Office Manager.
Job Type: Full-Time / 40 Hours per week
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5pm
Salary: $22 to $27 per hour depending on experience

Experience:
- Medical Assistant - 1 year required
- Medical Office Experience - 1 year required
- Experience with EClinicalWorks or other EMR software
