Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional customer service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and efficient service. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, including wine knowledge and cocktail experience
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Process transactions efficiently using POS systems while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and ensuring proper sanitation in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such Square POS, Clover POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Basic math skills for sales transaction processing and cash handling
- Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial but not required

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
