We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning optimally. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot various pool equipment issues.
Duties
- Conduct regular pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing.
- Perform equipment repairs on pool systems, ensuring all components are in good working order.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Inspect pool systems for potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool and communicate findings to clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks related to pool maintenance.
Skills
- Proficient in pool maintenance techniques and best practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment efficiently.
- Experience as a service technician in the pool industry or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with various cleaning methods and chemical treatments for pools.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
