Description:
A Banquet Server is responsible for the set up and the service of all assigned banquet functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile.

Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.

Know how to read the Banquet Event Order and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.

Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, stations and service areas.

Accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives.

Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Clear, clean and reset tables as needed.

Perform any other duties as requested by management.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS.

Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service a PLUS
-
Must be willing and have the ability to work evenings that may include weekends and holidays
-
Full- and part-time positions available.
-
Willing and able to stand/walk for entire shift if needed
-
Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25-30 pounds
