Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area for guests.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or plating dishes under supervision to support kitchen operations.
- Support catering events or banquet setups by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and helping with food staging as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and service stations through regular cleaning routines.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or hospitality background is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Experience in food service, catering, or banquet settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary environments enhances your ability to support team needs effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
