Duties
- Assist the executive housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping activities across all hotel areas, including guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces
- Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met or exceeded
- Coordinate cleaning schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to maximize efficiency and quality
- Conduct inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance
- Support the implementation of industrial cleaning techniques and janitorial best practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and floor care techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing housekeeping teams or custodial staff
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including guest service excellence and safety regulations
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment, janitorial supplies, and maintenance protocols
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and coordinate with other departments
