East County subcontractor is seeking a working foreman for a long-term position. The ideal candidate is dependable, ethical, detail-oriented, and safety-focused, with a positive attitude and the ability to lead, motivate, and train crews. This role also requires strong self-management and teamwork skills. Local candidates are preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Knowledge of prevailing wage
· Minimum of 10 years' experience as a foreman/supervisor in underground wet utilities in public/private works
· Experience with water, sewer, storm drain, etc. (Pipeline experience a MUST!)
· Managed a crew of 5+ employees
· Excellent communication skills
· Knowledge of plans and specifications
· Maintain safety standards
· Conduct weekly safety meetings
· Accurately complete weekly timecards, daily reports, etc.
· Scheduling and 3-week look ahead
· Coordination with sub-tiers/vendors
· Must have clean DMV and valid California driver’s license
