Interventional Technologist I – Oklahoma City, OK
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4x10s
Call: Nights and weekends, approximately 8–10 shifts per month
MetaSense is seeking an experienced Interventional Technologist I to assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in Interventional Radiology and/or Invasive Cardiology.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and other interventional procedures
- Operate specialized radiologic equipment and assist with image-guided procedures
- Serve as a scrub tech during procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and follow safety protocols
- Prepare and provide care for patients before, during, and after procedures
- Transfer images and technical data into the appropriate electronic health system
- Perform equipment cleaning, quality control, and maintenance
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality assurance, audits, and performance improvement
- Provide on-call coverage as assigned
Requirements
- Experience or educational background in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Ultrasound, Paramedic/EMT, or related health science field
- Knowledge of medical imaging, anatomy, positioning, sterile technique, and patient safety
- Ability to remain calm and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- BLS – AHA required
- ARRT(RT), RCES, or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire
Travel experience is NOT required.
Trauma experience is NOT required.
