We are currently seeking a motivated Gatehouse Security Officer to support operations at our logistics facility.
Position Summary
As a Truck Gate Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all vehicular traffic entering and leaving our logistics site. You’ll manage access control, check in and out trucks, complete necessary paperwork, and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth drop-offs and shipments. Your role will help maintain the security and efficiency of our site.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulate access to the facility using our proven access-control procedures.
- Verify credentials and identity of drivers and vehicles entering and exiting.
- Check in/out trucks, log arrival and departure times, and inspect paperwork.
- Communicate in real-time with warehouse staff to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, drop zones, and staging.
- Fill out and process required paperwork accurately (BOLs, manifests, logs, access forms).
- Respond to security incidents, escalate issues, and follow company protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized gatehouse environment.
- Provide excellent customer-service and maintain a professional, friendly presence.

- Outgoing: You’ll interact with many drivers, vendors, and internal staff, so strong communication skills are essential.
- Detail-oriented: You’ll handle and process critical documentation; accuracy matters.
- Dependable: Must be able to reliably work assigned shifts.
- Flexible: If you have the right security or customer-service background, there may be opportunity to pick up additional hours at other sites.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in security, especially gatehouse or access control roles.
- Customer service experience is a strong plus.
- Basic computer/record-keeping skills.
- Ability to learn and follow security protocols and access-control systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay & Schedule
- Pay is $16 an hour.
- Training provided on site and on company systems
- Scheduling if flexible for full-time and part-time.
