Part-Time Office Assistant

Creative Learning Studio is seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Part-Time Office Assistant to support our educational therapy center. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a child-centered educational environment and can help maintain a warm, professional, and smoothly run office.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable supporting both administrative tasks and the daily needs of students and families.
Schedule & Compensation
- Approximately 16 hours per week
- Combination of onsite and virtual hours
- Includes Saturdays
- Flexibility required for additional onsite coverage as needed
Compensation:
- $20/hour for the first 3 months
- Performance review after 3 months with potential increase up to $23/hour
- Opportunity for additional responsibilities and growth within the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a consistent and professional front office presence
- Greet and assist parents and students warmly and professionally
- Respond promptly to parent communications via Google Voice and email (highest priority responsibility)
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized office environment
- Update weekly appointments on office whiteboard every Monday
- Monitor and replenish office and educational supplies
- Check and manage incoming mail
- Communicate with building management regarding maintenance needs as directed
- Maintain office equipment including air purifiers, clocks, batteries, and charging devices
- Care for office plants and aromatherapy devices
- Provide additional administrative and onsite support as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a child-centered educational setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior office or administrative experience
- Experience working in a school, tutoring, therapy, or child-focused environment
