Alchemist's Refuge is a community-focused game store that specializes in collectible card games. We promote a casual and fun environment where people from all walks of life can gather and connect around games.
We are looking for someone who is friendly and organized to manage customer interactions and assist in running store events to join our team who also has a passion for gaming and having fun. It's not required that you know every single game that we carry, but it is required you have an interest and the ability to learn quickly and ask questions!
This is a part-time to full time position (around 12 - 20 hours a week with a potential for more) at our retail store at 11925 Montgomery Road. We welcome all applicants and will consider everyone who applies.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be detail oriented
- Effective communication skills
- Must be available weekends and nights.
- Basic customer service experience
- Positive attitude
- Great multitasking skills
*We are specifically looking for someone who's schedule will include SUNDAY in addition to their other shifts, if this does not work with your availability we ask that you do not apply*
Responsibilities
- Open to learn about the games we carry (Pokemon, Disney Lorcana, Magic: The Gathering, Flesh and Blood, etc)
- Organizing and Entering Inventory
- Pulling and Processing and online orders
- Merchandising and Restocking product in the store
- Navigating customer relationships and providing the correct information on community updates
