Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Tennis Coach to inspire and develop players of all ages and skill levels. You must posses passion for coaching, combined with excellent communication skills, will help players improve their techniques, build confidence, and enjoy the game to the fullest.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic tennis lessons tailored to individual skill levels and goals
- Demonstrate proper techniques for strokes, footwork, and game strategy
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Organize and oversee practice drills, matches, and tournaments to encourage teamwork and sportsmanship
- Maintain a safe playing environment by enforcing rules and ensuring proper equipment use
- Communicate effectively with players and parents about training plans, progress, and upcoming events
- Stay updated on current coaching methods, sports safety protocols including AED operation and first aid/CPR procedures
Qualifications
- Current tennis coaching certification required (USPTA, PTR, or equivalent).
- Minimum UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) of 7 required.
- Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and coach players of varying ages and skill levels.
- Reliable, professional, and punctual.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
