Must have construction knowledge. This position’s primary responsibility is assisting in the last stages of finishing work on new home construction, including “punch” work. In addition, will also help with warranty work and other types of handyman type help as needed. An eye for detail and quality work is required.
To be successful in the position, candidates must be self-driven and able to work without supervision. Reliability and dependability are key.
Duties
- Handyman work related to general repairs, drywall and paint patches, appliance and hardware installation, and similar home construction tasks.
- Help moving materials to and from job sites, as well as picking up orders and delivering to job sites as needed.
- Warranty work on homes to fix and repair nail pops, trim repair, and other issues as needed.
- A positive, helpful, and professional attitude towards coworkers and homeowners.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Safely use construction related tools
- Drivers license and clean driving record
