We are seeking a motivated and experienced Front End Wheel Bucket Loader Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating front-end loaders with precision and safety to assist in excavation, grading, and material handling on various construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress while adhering to all safety regulations and operational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects, utilizing your heavy equipment skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate front-end wheel bucket loaders safely and efficiently for excavation, loading, and material movement tasks
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on construction machinery, including loaders and excavators, to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with construction grading, backfilling, and site preparation activities, ensuring accurate leveling and site layout
- Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members on construction utility work, excavation projects, and site logistics
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as front-end loaders.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations and equipment safety procedures
- Demonstrated ability to perform routine maintenance on construction machinery and perform minor repairs as needed
- Construction utility work experience including excavation and backfilling techniques
- Familiarity with federal safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction grading
- Prior experience in construction or utility projects that involve excavation, site preparation, and heavy equipment operation
- Valid commercial truck driving license preferred; experience with commercial driving is a plus
