Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will support the laser operator by preparing materials in stage, pull, load and unload of tubing. Responsible to maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring efficient workflow.
Job Duties:
- Load and unload the tubes from trucks or other locations
- Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner
- Help with staging and removal of debris
- Use a variety of basic tools and equipment (Drills, Tape measure etc)..
- Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials as needed.
- Ensure department organization and cleanliness through trash and debris removal.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment.
- Read basic measuring devices.
- Operate a pallet jack or Forklift with Certification
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Attendance Requirements: Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.
Salary Range: $18-$19/hr
