typically drive daily from 6:00am - 8-:30am and 2:00pm - 4:30PM
Job Summary: Drive school vehicle to transport students to/from school following specified routes and to/from special school-related excursions as assigned; ensures the safety of all students from pick up to drop off. Complies with all traffic regulations.
Major Duties & Responsibilities: Would include, but not necessarily be limited to the following:
Report observations and/or incidents (e.g., discipline, inappropriate social behavior, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information to appropriate personnel. Comply with all discipline policies.
Must be sensitive to confidential information (e.g., student medical records, student disabilities, etc.).
Assist students and other passengers (e.g. seating, restraints, special equipment, etc.) for the purpose of providing safe loading and unloading from vehicles including both emergency situations and normal transport.
Maintain assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior (e.g. cleaning floors/windows/seats, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle.
