Job Overview
Join our team as a Local Class A Driver. In this role, you will be mostly running drop and hook freight with a 53ft trailer. Ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement
- Safely and efficiently refuel company truck, at designated fuel stops
- Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation for compliance purposes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and resolve any issues promptly
- Pre Employment DOT regulated drug test and adherence to FMCSA drug and alcohol policy strictly enforced
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid Class A CDL license
- Experience in driving manual transmission trucks
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot common mechanical issues
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance standards

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,100.00 per week
