American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring at least 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and flexibility across labor, triage, and postpartum care.

Work takes place in an LDRP unit, with staff rotating through labor, triage, and mother-baby postpartum care
-
Labor assignments carry a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio; postpartum assignments carry a 3-4 couplet load

Epic EMR experience is required

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00

Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
On-call hours are expected, typically averaging 16–20 hours over a 6-week schedule; some staff opt to substitute extra weekend and weekday shifts in lieu of call

Local candidates are not accepted for this position

Active RN license — Maryland state or Compact license currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (LDRP) nursing experience required

Required certifications: NRP, AWHONN, and FHM

Proficiency with Epic EMR required

OB surgical recovery (C-section) experience highly preferred

Must provide two professional references for consideration

Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Nurses rotate through all unit roles, including labor, triage, and mother-baby postpartum care

Must be comfortable providing postpartum couplet care in addition to labor and triage responsibilities

13-week travel contract
