Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing a team of technicians and advisors, and driving department profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the service department
- Lead, motivate, and develop service advisors and technicians
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics (labor sales, efficiency, CSI, etc.)
- Maintain quality control and ensure repairs meet dealership and manufacturer standards
- Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively
- Control expenses and manage department profitability
- Coordinate with parts and sales departments for smooth operations
- Hire and train service advisors, technicians and porters
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in an automotive service management role
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Proven track record of driving service department performance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Reynolds dealership management systems
