We're hiring experienced FTTH Technicians to join our growing team in Lansing and Grand Rapids (MI).
W-2 Contract. Full-time job.
Responsibilities
As a FTTH Technician, your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Perform FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and broadband installations in residential settings
- Provide professional customer service and explain equipment operation to customers
- Install and route fiber drop cables for aerial and underground applications
- Mount, configure, and activate ONTs, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment
- Conduct signal testing, troubleshooting, and service verification
- Complete service calls, repairs, and work-order documentation accurately
- Adhere to all safety standards, quality guidelines, and company procedures
Requirements
- Your OWN VAN, MINIVAN, OR PICKUP TRUCK
- Previous fiber experience required, and experience with coax cable is a big plus
- Active Driver’s License and valid SSN
- iPhone/iPad for using the app to receive orders
- Conversational English
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Ability to carry ladders and heavy equipment
